Carmen Dixon is as an organizer, educator, and impact producer. With nearly two decades in journalism, public relations, K-5 education, and grassroots organizing, Carmen is committed to making trauma informed care an integral component of impact strategy. She has worked at faith based non-profits incorporating transformative justice efforts into policy advocacy campaigns and supported families and communities deeply impacted by police violence.
Carmen has contributed to impact campaigns for The Blood is at the Doorstep, Gavin Grimm Vs., and Tell Them We are Rising: The Story of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
