Imani Dennison (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores memory, migration, and the historic aftermaths of African and Indigenous histories. Working across film, photography, writing, and installation, they draw on historical archives, both personal and public, and speculative approaches to examine how histories of displacement and survival are carried across generations. Their work has been supported by Tribeca, PBS, and Chicken & Egg Pictures. They are currently an MFA candidate in Art Practice at Stanford University.
