Firelight Media celebrates its supported filmmakers’ screening at this year’s festival and returns as a sponsor of DOC NYC PRO.

Firelight Media is proud to share that a number of its supported filmmakers will screen at DOC NYC this year, America’s largest documentary festival. The organization will also return as a sponsor of DOC NYC PRO, co-presenting “Anatomy of a Film: Slumlord Millionaire,” through its Beyond Resilience series, at which it will unveil its new case study of the Firelight Media-supported film.

DOC NYC celebrates documentary filmmaking by connecting artists and audiences through powerful stories and diverse voices. Its 2026 edition will take place November 11–29, 2026, with screenings and events taking place across Manhattan.

The DOC NYC PRO conference returns Nov. 12–13 and Nov. 15–19 at Village East by Angelika, bringing together the global documentary community for a week of conversation, connection, and practical insight. New this year is the standalone Solutions Lab on Nov. 14 at The New School, a day dedicated to collective problem-solving.
