The FRONTLINE/Firelight Fellowship supports diverse, independent producers interested in investigative documentary filmmaking and audio storytelling. The Fellowship is offered in partnership with FRONTLINE, PBS’s award-winning investigative documentary series.
Chronicling the lived experiences of Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) communities in the American South and Puerto Rico during the unprecedented events of 2020, HINDSIGHT is a new nonfiction short film series that explores the cultural shifts, community ingenuity, and pivotal conversations defining this moment in America.
Immediately following the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Firelight Media partnered with Field of Vision to launch OUR 100 DAYS, a series of short films directed by filmmakers of color intended to document the impact of the hyper-politicized environment on individuals and communities who were already vulnerable.
