Kandace Fuller

Kandace Fuller is a graduate of Columbia University, where she received her B.A. in English Literature. During her studies, she developed a passion for amplifying marginalized voices and developing narratives that animate and affirm people of color. Alongside her administrative career, she also served as Managing Editor of Womanly Magazine, a misson-driven publication dedicated to providing accessible health information to women/non-binary people through visual and literary art. Kandace is proud to assist Firelight in its mission of “changing the story,” and helps others do the same through local mentorship and teaching.

A native New Yorker, Kandace was born and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, steeped in a historical culture that still instructs and inspires her today.
