C.J. Hunt| neautral ground

Neutral Ground is a feature length documentary following the effort to remove New Orleans' Confederate monuments, and the ensuing battle over who owns Southern identity.

Neutral Ground follows comedian and writer CJ Hunt, also a decade long New Orleans resident, as he uncovers the historical and ahistorical factors that led to the erection and hard-fought removal of New Orleans' Confederate Monuments.

CJ Hunt is a comedian and director living in NYC. He is a field producer on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He was a staff writer for A&E's Black and White and a field producer directing sketches and short docs on BET's The Rundown with Robin Thede. CJ was also a cast member of MTV's Vidiots and My First Time. At night CJ hosts The Moth and eats cookies.

A graduate from Brown University in Africana Studies, CJ is endlessly fascinated by race and comedy's ability to say what we can't.
